Ashtabula County Ohio. Built 1868, 136 Foot Howe Truss over Conneaut Creek The bridge needed repairs in 1984 and was closed. Funds were not available so County Engineer John Smolen enlisted the aid of volunteers to put in new trusses, floor and roof and siding and the work was completed completely by volunteer labor.
